Hanwell

Azalea Close

Located only 400m from the Elizabeth Line at Hanwell Station, this stately block in Ealing is benefitting from a successful planning permission for 14 additional one bed units spread over two additional storeys.

Live above worked closely with the council to ensure that all the requirements for the local residents were met, and that the development would ensure a net positive impact on the local area. By finishing the building with a mansard roof, the development at Azalea court works to soften the aesthetic impact of the building on Uxbridge Road, a much-welcomed feature for the Council’s constituents.

Plus, to help further our green initiative, not only have we maximised the natural light provision for the new units as we do with all our developments, but we have also decided against adding car-parking spaces and will instead be providing 21 additional long-stay cycle parking areas to help encourage residents to choose a greener approach to travelling.

We’re remarkably proud of this development and look forward to doing more for the Ealing and Hanwell district.

We expect to hear back from the council soon on our new and improved 5-unit scheme to bring some much-needed life back to the Waltham Forest Council

The Pavilions was one of Live Above’s tougher challenges. After much back and forth with the local residents and in spite of multiple objections, we were able to obtain planning permission for a 2-storey, 10-unit extension. The scheme consists of 1- 2- and 3-bed units to cater for a wider variety of residents. Our architects have brilliantly planned a vibrant and eye catching roof-space extension that extends seamlessly from the existing block

Elystan Court sits on the border of Wandsworth’s Conservation Area and was in much need of an update. The cladding on the external façade was a somewhat dreary eyesore and the roof was damaged. Live Above are obtaining Planning Consent for a single storey, 4-unit roof top extension adding some much-needed grandeur to the block in a move that we believe will result in additional value to existing residential units within and around the block

We have owned the freehold at Imperial Avenue for a good while and it has long been our ambition to develop on the airspace of both the roof and rear garden. However, we had been held back from our development plans due to insufficient parking provisions as a few of the spaces were demised to other flats within the building.

In order to solve this problem, Live Above bought several flats within the building, acquiring the parking spaces at the front and space in the rear garden for development purposes.

We are now proud to have our first phase of the development approved by the planning council at Southend-on-Sea for a roof extension providing two additional units whilst also giving the entire façade a facelift to help support existing leaseholders retain and improve their flat values.

his smaller Joint Venture development was one of Live Above’s slicker accomplishments. The single-storey, 2-unit scheme took just 6 weeks to gain approval from start to finish. We particularly like the architect’s enthusiasm for the sustainable landscaping on the roof! We feel exceptionally privileged to have worked on this site as the custom-made Joint Venture agreement we created for this Vendor has now led to countless more opportunities going forward. We look forward to working with this vendor again on more similar projects in the future
